Since I upgraded to OS X Mavericks, my desktop screen will flash like it's going to shut down. All the files I have on my desktop screen will intermidiately flash about every 15 seconds or so. Any thoughts? My computer doesn't shut down and the screen I am working in is fine but something is going on. HELP!
Sounds similar to what I was experiencing. If you use Google Drive, open Google Drive preferences and turn off "Show file sync status and right click menu". Should stop the aggravating crashes every 60 seconds.
