Hi culture.bii,

No, the thief basically has a brick on their hands. With the new security measures on iOS 7, there is no way the thief can ever use the phone. Don't erase it whatever you do. They have a useless paperweight. Tell them congratulations if they call you again. They have a useless item that is worth absolutely nothing....

And extortion is illegal, by the way. I would get the police in touch with your extrordinarily stupid thief....

Sorry you don't have your phone, but you can be rest assured that neither does the immoral pig who stole it from you....

Cheers,

GB

Hi culture.bii,

If you do meet him bring the police with you. Do not, under any circumstances, meet him on your own. Clearly this person is out to do you harm. Although I am sure you would like your phone back, it is not worth your health or well being. Clearly this person has no morals whatsoever, so, it is likely that they would not hesitate to do you harm. Stay away from them. See if the police would be willing to meet (and nab) them in your place.

Let the police know everything that has gone on up to this point. They will best be able to tell you what to do from this point on.

Best of luck!

I asked and she said google it. Then rattled something about emergency call 211 call hang up twice some menus etc. It's a ******** feature that's going to lead to lots of problems in the future. I got burned in a legitimate deal by this feature. I now have a paper weight that looks like a iPhone 5s. But just like every one of apples pathetic security features it will be bypassed soon too. It always is, never fail, why do you think my 8yo daughter can do it.
