Dock not Showing in Full Screen Apps?
Whenever I am in a fullscreen app, my dock never shows up.

With the previous version you could swipe down to the bottom and wait for the dock to appear, but your finger did not have to remain on the trackpad. With Mavericks, your finger must remain on the trackpad in order for it to work.
I figured it out, in fullscreen apps all you have to do in OSX is pull down slowly with your pointer. This will bring up the dock- but it is glitchy that you have to go slowly. Hope this helps!
It's normal. Full-screen apps in Mac OS X are designed in order to avoid that the Dock shows up there. To show it, move the cursor to the bottom of the display. It may take a few seconds until the Dock shows up
