Do we still need to enter our apple when updating apps in iOS 7?

I was wondering whether it's still required for people to enter their Apple ID when updating apps in the latest iOS update, iOS 7.0.3, if required, what types of apps? Paid and free? Free? Paid? Or none?

Thanks.

If you want it to update your apps automatically, follow the below.

1. Go to settings

2. Scroll down to iTunes and app store

3. Turn updates on

If you want to download a app you need to enter your password every time unless it is in a 15 minute limit. Or you can set the password to immediately in restrictions.

If you have the iphone5s then you can use your fingerprint to download apps and open your phone without a passcode.
