Have tried to restore my apps for the ipad air from itunes. Moving from ipad 3rd generation. The apps appear on the itunes screen but do not install to the ipad air. I am using the most recent version of itunes and ios 7.03.

Have been able to restore photos and music. I push the button next to the app on the itune app screen and get the button to show "will install" but when I sync nothing is transfered to ipad. I am using the most recent version of itunes and ios. Do I have to download and install each app separately. I am using I tune on a imac runing Maverick.

Finally have been able to transfer apps to new iPad. While sync apps, I got a box which asked if I wanted to update my settings on the ipad. I had been clicking no because the wording of the question seemed to imply it would save settings from my iPad (which was not working) to iTunes. But each time I clicked no it would unselect the apps to install. Since it was not working, I clicked yes to this question and the apps loaded. None where in the subfolders I had created but at least they were on the iPad.
