QuickTime player will not upload to youtube

Same problem here.

I had to export as .mov and upload to Youtube using web browser.

It was working until OS X 10.9

Same problem here. Also iMovie 09 is totally crapped out now. Crashes every 2 minutes since 10.9

That worked for me too! I had two passwords saved to the keychain and I've deleted both and am able to share to Youtube again. Yay!

Can I ask how you found that item in the Keychain program? Lots of stuff in there, but I can't find anything regarding youtube...

Yup...brilliant thread...how crazy and rather poor of Apple on several counts 1) The bug 2) The keychain...my keychain has about 8 entries for youtube name and password, and finally 3) even though it works, it still asks for youtube name, whereas it NEEDS your youtube email address.

Yes, delete from key chain, was the correct answer and worked for me. I had an two passwords / entires for youtube and one was an old incorrect one.

On the eve of Yosemite release let's hope we don't get new bugs but this one was a stumper as one didn't even get an error message.

Hm. Deleting the keychain record didn't work for me. Then again, no one's said what the "YouTube Name" is supposed to be.

1) The full name that Google Plus knows me as? That's what you see if you click on your avatar.
2) My email address? That's above my avatar.

3) My obsolete YouTube handle? That's the name you see in the URL when you view your channel.

Combine all those with various possible past passwords, and... I've had no luck.

Have same problem, I think it is because double step authentication on google account
