i cannot get my ipod touch ios 4.2.1 to sync to my itunes on my laptop. all the songs that i baught on my ipod are on my laptop but i cannit change what songs i have on my ipod. please help as it has put my mums music on and not mine even though i selected my music... i cannot listen to any more Robin Beck!!!!!

it says syncing but diesnt do any thing
yes my ipod was a hand me down and came with songs on
