I had my logic board on my mid-2010 Macbook Pro replaced, but today charged and turned it on to find the password still active and all apps, files, folders etc. completely intact.
I expected it to be wiped clean with a new board. Does this mean they didn't do it? A simple on topic response is appreciated!

No it doesn't mean they didn't change the logic board. What you are seeing is what is on the Hard Drive. That is the storage device in your Mac. It holds all the data, Operating system, OS X, Apps and your files. The Logic board is the hart of the system, the electronics that reads what is on the hard drive.
As LowLuster said all your data is on the HD. The only thing you may experience is having to re-register your MBP with things like bank accounts, etc...
The new logic board will have a new UUID and will appear to sites as a new machine. Not a big deal though, merely some tedious refilling in of some security questions and such.
