I have just bought a brand new 2013 retina display 13" macbook pro. It is the basic package. I have repeatedly tried to download os x maverick in the purchased apps section of the app store, but I keep getting the same message slide down telling me I can not download this on this computer. Please Help me!

A new MacBook will most likely be running OS 10.9 Mavericks.

You can find out more about your Mac by clicking your Apple menu top left in your screen.
From the drop down menu click About This Mac > More Info
Then click Overview, Displays, Storage, and Memmory and System Report.
