Toggling Between iPad and iMac in iMovie

I created a project on iMovie on my iPad and want to finish it on my iMac. How can I toggle between the two and work in both places? I can view the project in the theater but can't seem to figure out how to open it on my iMac and work on it there as well? Help! Thanks!
