Inside "Pictures" Right click on "Photo Booth Library" and select "Show Package Contents". From there you will fine all your photo's and video's inside another folder called "Pictures"...
It's kind of weird the way this was done. I think it was better the old way.
anyone?
having same exact problem. what's worse is that you can only export one photo at a time within the actual photo booth program which is beyond inconvenient and unintuitive. very sad.
worked like a charm thank you very much
Thank you!!!
Thank you. This worked perfectly 🙂
Thanks so much for the tip. 42 gigs of space freed =)
In Mavericks, it's changed around a bit.
(The solution from mdzura117 is correct, too)
An alternative is, when you are inside PhotoBooth, right-click the thumbail (image or video) and select "export".
Then, choose where to save/export the file to.
Hope this is helpful 🙂
If you'd like to be able to access the photos in any way other than just in FINDER, ie: to upload them on webforms, and other apps, then you can do this
open Terminal
type:
-------
cd Pictures
ln -s Photo\ Booth\ Library/Pictures/ PhotoBoothPics
----
this will create a folder called PhotoBoothPics that is a link to the photobooth library, and is accessible to attach to email, etc, and will always have all your pics
You want to go to the file 'Pictures' in Finder and right click 'Photo Booth Library'. There you'll find another file named 'Pictures'. If you go in there you'll get your pictures back!! I really liked the old way I don't know why it sent the old photos here!!!

Thank you for the command. It's helpful to be able to access them quickly.
THANK YOU SO MUCH. Saved all my pictures.
Copy and pasting it really saves time and makes it so much easier.
Thanks to FrazerKirkman for this quick solution. Apple is going to drive me back to Windows with this BS. Why make everything harder?
