Q: Ipad air low memory crash

I came to this forum to see if other ipad air owners are experiencing same problem with low memory crashing as I do but seems like I'm one of the few people have this. So far I have 10 low memory crash reports. I also have about 30 more crash reports but it's from various apps. I got my ipad air on the launch day, second in line, here in California. Maybe I just have a defective one, I don't know. If you have same issues, please reply so I can determine if I should return it or just live with it. Closing apps every day is a hassle. I wish Apple just put in extra gig of ram. Overall, I am extremely happy with my ipad. There are so many good this things to mention about this ipad but this is wrong thread to do that.

I been tolerating this for the last 2 months... Both safari and chrome crashes constantly...

I can even get my work done... Stop calling it 64 bit when it cant handle wordpress site building or regular browsing activity..

"Over 15,000 people viewing this thread" is that a throw away number or is there a way to get viewer metrics for his site? Not being critical, just curious.

Yes, look at top of page. Just below where it says welcome (your login name) sign out.

It says Apple Support Communities>iPad>Using iPad>Discussions.

Click. On discussions. Look for our iPad Air low memory crash thread in the list. It shows total views.

" I can even get my work done... Stop calling it 64 bit when it cant handle wordpress site building or regular browsing activity."

Very unfair statement. I have a personal website powered by Word Press. Link:  http://www.visions4.net/journal/

I have been building and editing my site on iPad3 and continue to do so on the Air with no issues what so ever.

This isn't the proper venue for shameless self promotion.

Excuse me. No promotion, just an example to prove what I say. I refrained from mentioning my site in a prior post.

Well, ya suckered me into clicking on it. It's a pretty simple site. Graphic intensive sites with embedded video don't pass the test with the iPad Air. Your site isn't doesn't require much computing power to consume, so it was a poor example- more likely it appears to be self promotion. Delete the link please.

For the second time, NO SELF PROMOTION. This comment is unfair:  " I can even get my work done... Stop calling it 64 bit when it cant handle wordpress site building or regular browsing activity."

Like I said, I have been building and editing this site with the iPad 3 and continue to do with the Air. The iPad is very capable of working with Word Press.

Excuse me, who made you a Moderator? You have no right to ask me to remove the link. I will gladly delete the link and leave it at Visions4. Will a Moderator please step in and delete the link if it violates policy rules of this forum? I have no problem with that. Thank you.

Do not be dismayed - it only means that you have iOS7 installed. Happening to everyone I know Btw, when people who are going through the rigmarole to visit the Apple store, restore, stand on one leg, and count backwards to get a Genius to admit that.. "oh maybe it doesnt work right".. are you at least mentioning this thread?

The restore is the first thing I tried.

Today I will make other tests on my IPad Air, that it's now clean like the day I bought it.

    - Thanks for any feedback on this issue.  Ciao :-)

I mentioned about this thread and the manager who I spoke to said they never had complaints about the iPad air crashing. This is quite frustrating.  I don't understand why my other iPads are fine with the same iOS and apps installed.
