remote desktop

Since up grading to Mavericks osx 10.9 my firewall has begun blocking remote desktop connections. Both router and Share settings are properly marked. The firewall can be turned off for it to work, but when you try and allow the connection in firewall options it does not seem to take, in other words it still blocks the shared screen even if you have it turn to Allow incoming conections. Seems like a catche updating issue use to run into these alot on Windows XP, man I hope apple fixes this soon, it not a good Idea to disable your firewall but it can be done if nessessary. Kind of defeats the point of buying a MAC though.
