I can't double click a device in the midi studio

I am trying to work with devices in the midi studio window. I can add a device, but when I double click on it, it it not highlighted.

I am trying to make some changes, but I can't select individual devices.

I went back into the midi studio window and now magically I can select devices on

a single click and double click to edit the device info. Don't understand why this

is now working???
