May 8, 2014 1:13 PM in response to arnozby Leonid Hairov aka NeOnyx,Here, where is it?
This is a reference to one of the biggest forums in Russia, I've found a solution, and threw the link to the original source

May 8, 2014 6:00 PM in response to Leonid Hairov aka NeOnyxby MoAmO,Thanks a lot. I tried the solution mentioned in the link you posted and it worked like magic. The only problem for me was to translate the Russian into English! But, I managed to translate it. Here is what is mentioned there:
1. Go to account settings via iTunes (PC)
2. Move the scrollbar to the bottom of the page.
3. And look for: "Reset all warnings for buying and downloading."
4. Click "Reset"That was good enough to make me able to update the apps without getting that hideous message which came to me up out of the blue this morning.

May 20, 2014 12:58 AM in response to Michael Battenfieldby Thenitai,Facing the same issue for a week now. But only with the Twitter app. Can't install/upgrade it due to this error. Tried everything in the book, no success. Very frustrating.

Oct 17, 2014 10:07 PM in response to Michael Battenfieldby Tj Talluto,I'm using Yosemite on a newly purchased MacBook and had the same exact symptoms.
I was able to resolve using this procedure:
1. Open AppStore
2. From the Menu, go to Store --> Check for Unfinished Downloads.
3. I got a list of apps that I needed to *accept* (the gray button in the right margin for each app is labeled, "ACCEPT").
Presumably these apps were free with purchase, but not YET associated to my Apple ID.
4. For each app, I clicked on the "ACCEPT" button and was prompted to enter my Apple ID.
5. As each app was accepted, the button was relabeled "UPDATE".
6. I was then able to perform an update of all the apps as normal.
Hope that helps.

Oct 17, 2014 11:30 PM in response to Tj Tallutoby hukhan00,Tj Talluto you're a lifesaver. Just wanted to say thanks. You just ended my morning of frustration. Followed your advice and I'm back in business!

Oct 18, 2014 10:15 AM in response to Tj Tallutoby Yalin_Camille,Thanks Tj Talluto, that fixed my problem. The list of apps that I needed to associate with my profile was not shown directly, however. I needed to click on the purchase tab in the App Store. There I found the "Accept" buttons.

Oct 19, 2014 9:04 AM in response to Dah•veedby wewear2,Hi there,
I've just encountered the same problem "Update Unavailable with This Apple ID" and failed to update my iPhoto 9.4.3 & iMovie 10.0.6 after upgrading from Mountain Lion to Yosemite.
It seems there're few workarounds:
1. use OS X Recovery to install new copies, accept them into your MAS account and then get the free upgrade to the Mavericks versions
2. uninstall the existing version & purchase a new one from App Store
My questions are:
1. if those 2 workarounds would cause any data lost
2. how to uninstall the existing version - do I just move the iPhoto.app to trash?
Please advise. Thanks in advance.
Regards,
John

Nov 1, 2014 1:39 PM in response to Michael Battenfieldby HipKnits,I have the same exact problem. Working on a brand new MacBook Air, it arrived requiring updates for both Maverick and Yosemite (since this shipped directly from the manufacturing plant in China, I’m not sure why it didn’t come with the latest OS installed — it was ordered just a week ago).
After updating the OS for the past hour, none of the apps will update. I get the same message (see screen shot).

Even after trying ALL the suggested solutions on this thread (not those involving deleting the programs), my programs refuse to update, either as a group, or individually. This seems pretty odd for a brand new purchase within the past week.
I have no idea what to do at this point. After reading the responses, I’m not confident that even Apple has a surefire solution.
Any advice? Is this a trip to the Apple store at this point?

Nov 1, 2014 2:50 PM in response to HipKnitsby RealHandy,I just got a new Air today, came with Mavericks, and I had this exact problem. I fixed it by going to the Purchases tab in the App Store and discovering that the 6 apps causing the problem were all there with Accept buttons. I Accepted each (retyping the Apple ID password every time), then went back to the Updates tab of App Store and installed them without incident.
What a Day 1 pain!

Nov 4, 2014 8:43 PM in response to Michael Battenfieldby jpcunneen,I solved this problem, instead of going to the update page go to the app itself within the App store. Here it will say "Accept" where it usually says download and then it will reauthorize you
Hope this helps
