MacBooks Pro with Retina display have got a HDMI port. You can check this by looking at > About this Mac > More Info, so you will see if you have got a MacBook Pro with Retina display.
If you haven't got a MacBook Pro with Retina display, you have to use a Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4241?viewlocale=en_US

Nov 6, 2013 1:50 PM in response to Lemonsquaresby sanjampet,★HelpfulWhat is the Model Identifier of your Mac?
You can find this information by holding the OPTION key and clicking on the Apple logo in the menu bar and clicking system information, on the pane that opens (Hardware Overview) second line down it should say
Model Identifier: MacBook ProX,X (X being the acutual numbers. Then someone can let you know for sure.
If you don't have a HDMI port there adapters that you can get to make it work.
Post back and I'm sure you get an answer.

Nov 6, 2013 8:19 PM in response to Lemonsquaresby sanjampet,You would need an adapter, mini display-port to HDMI, and a HDMI cable to interface with the device, such as this:
Example, you may want to shop:
http://store.apple.com/us/product/HA824ZM/A/belkin-mini-displayport-to-hdmi-adap ter?fnode=51
This is a partial shot of a 8,1 connections ports (that apply to your query)
Hope this helps
