This means that iWork will always be a crippled web-app ported to Mac OS.
But I didn't buy my Macs to use ****** web apps. I want NATIVE POWERFUL Apps. iWork is no more.

iWork '09 is right where you left it. They're indicating it'll be there for a while, and they'll be bringing Pages 5 up to speed as they see fit.
In the meantime, don't jsut vent here. leave Apple feedback:

I've left my feedbacks for sure!
And of course I still use iWork '09. But I'm VERY disappointed anyway. And their statement of today doesn't promise anything good. They clearly aim to make shi#ty web-apps also on Mac instead a REAL Apps. Didn't buy my Mac for that.
iWork is dead: crippled forever.
