I tunes will not finish a sync

I updated to 11.1.3 today and I am running 7.0.3 on my Ipad and 4S. I still can not finish a sync. It will get to the last step and just stay there. ANY help would be good. I have restored and done a hard (cold) start on both devices. Everythig short of deleting Itunes and starting over. That is the very last option foe me at this time. With over 3500 songs, 500 music videos and 200 full movies it would take a month to get all that off cloud. Someone help.
