Aperture 3.5 & Mavericks Picture windows jams

Since upgrading to Aperture 3.5 and Mavericks, I have this spurious situation where the windw showing the picture will jam, that is will not refresh to show another selected image. Flipping the window set-up from grid view to full view will eventually bring a black bacjground to the window.

The Console indicates :

2013-11-06 20:54:42,643 Aperture[900]: CGSGetWindowPresenter

2013-11-06 20:54:42,643 Aperture[900]: find_shared_window: WID 366

2013-11-06 20:54:42,643 Aperture[900]: CGSOrderWindowListWithGroups: invalid window ID (366)

2013-11-06 20:54:42,643 Aperture[900]: CGSOrderWindowList: NULL list pointer or empty list

2013-11-06 20:54:42,643 Aperture[900]: find_shared_window: WID 366

2013-11-06 20:54:42,643 Aperture[900]: CGSClearWindowTags: Invalid window 0x16e

and so on.
