Hi phill4845,

I too was having the issue where Safari was closing when I clicked on + with my ipad Air . I wasn't sure what to do but from past expereince with iphone and MBP issues thought I'd check here first. Again it was to be a fruitful few seconds as the answer was provided. Finally I'd like to say thanks , just shows there are mature people in forums who like to assist their fellow users instead of reverting to childish name calling , foul and often mispelt profanities . 🙂

Hi phill4845,

I was also having the same problems. I just received my iPad mini RD and every time I clicked this + sign to add a new tab in Safari, the Safari app would crash. I did exactly what you said to do and viola...it works! Thanks for the advice. Other advice said that you had to wipe your ipad and introduce it as a new iPad rather than downloading it from the cloud or other devices, Your advice saved me a lot of time and headache. So THANK YOU!!! 🙂
