Numbers 3 sorting

Have mutiple columns; each column has a heading and want to sort the content in the spreadsheet and not effect the headers.


The previous version was easy, select the cells and click 'selected cells only'; job done.


This version of pages is a joke.

Hi Gavin,


Sort Selected Rows has gone in Numbers 3. But nothing has changed with Header Rows (they stay at the top after a sort. When you say "heading" it may be a Body Row, not a Header Row. Here is a Table with a heading that does not have the special properties of a Header Row.

Menu > Table > Header Rows 1

To get this:

Row 1 is now a true Header Row and will stay in place after Sort Ascending (or any sort):
