Nov 9, 2013 3:53 AM in response to Domo020322by lllaass,Someone else with same situation contacted both Apple and the police and nether could help. It is an anti-theft feature. My guess is that you have a stolen/lost iPod. If y contact the police they might ell yo if it was reported as stolen.

Mar 26, 2016 10:32 AM in response to Domo020322by robertfromport talbot,It seems to me in all disussions i have read some people dont think about erasing their old apple products from their accounts and i dare say there could be some stolen out there so if all the genuine people out there selling or getting rid of apple products to remove from accounts before doing so and that way genuine people can buy apple products legitimately and not have the burden of buying a brick
