Import pictures from iCloud

Hi I have an Issue

My partner has just upgraded to Iphone 5s from Iphone 4s. He went to Vodafone store and they transfered his contacts to new phone. He wants to get his pictures from Iphone 4S to Iphone 5s he has done icloud back up of Iphone 4 s.

is there a way yo import pictures from icloud with out messing up all settings and contacts?

I am unsure myself I thought it would be as easy as plug in usb and copy and paste like most phones.

Any answers i would be greatful

If his pictures are backup to icloud, then he will need to restore his phone from that backup, to get it back from his phone. http://support.apple.com/kb/PH12519?viewlocale=en_US

If he still has his old phone he can import those pics to his computer http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083 then he can sync those pics to his new phone http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4236
