How to download older version of iPhoto from App Store on Mountain lion

I bought iPhoto in App Store 03.11.12 for Mountain Lion. When I changet a country in my Apple ID all my previous purchases disappeared from list. Couple of weeks ago I upgraded my OS X to Mavericks and of course I upgraded iPhoto too. But Mavericks works much worse on my Mac, maybe model of my Mac is too old. So I decided to downgraded it back to Mountain Lion. But when I want to install iPhoto again it jump out a sign that I can't install it because my OS X is too old and I need OS X Mavericks. What need I do to install iPhoto on my Mac?

Only the most recent iPhoto version is available in the Mac App Store, so you need to upgrade to OS X Mavericks if you want to install iPhoto.

If you have got a backup, you can try restoring iPhoto from it, so you can use it, but if you haven't got a backup, the only option is to upgrade to Mavericks or get iLife '11 on a DVD and install iPhoto

I'm in a situation where I need an older version as well. I bought a late 2006 MacBook Pro, and the best I can run on it is 10.7. I migrated my stuff to it from my much newer iMac running 10.8 and iPhoto won't open along with some other system prefs. The MacBook didn't come with the restore discs, and I can't find them for sale anywhere. I have made a bootable DVD of Lion, and I just ordered Snow Leopard from the Apple Store. I know they want to sell new machines, but why is it so hard to find older versions for older machines!

That's all you'd need to copy. More and more users are reporting problems with 8.1.2 and Mavericks. For me it takes about 30 seconds to launch and get ready to operate. It seems to be searching for something and I've not found what causing it. Others have reported crashing when trying to export a photo out of an 8.1.2 library. AND others have had no problems. Go figure. Hope it works for you.

I tried to copy it to a flash drive and dump it into applications last night but it wouldn't work. When I launched it from the drive it said that I had photos opened with a later version, please quit. I then burned it to a dvd, and I'm trying to install it again, but I'm not having much luck. I was thinking maybe there were some .plist files/prefs I might have to either delete, or bring along. I tried it once from the dvd, and I thought it copied, but when I went to look for it, it wasn't in my applications.

I finally got it to work...I had to delete the iPhoto library, which is fine with me. I appreciate the help! Now if I could just get my desktop & screen saver, energy saver, and spotlight prefs to work! I tried replacing them with versions from the back up I got iPhoto from, but no good
