After ios 7 update, my messages are going to gmail chat and computers.

I was having problems with imessage before the fix, but just solved it by turning off imessage and chatting. Now, after the fix, it seemed to be working alright but then friends told me all of my texts were going to their gmail messages or ichat on their computers rather than their phones. I turned off imessage, figuring that it would only go to phones, but it is still happening.
