new warranty phone and itunes wont sync music and shows 5GBs of other

I received a warranty iphone 5 two days ago. I backed up the damaged one via icloud and itunes, then restored the new one using itunes. When restoring it didn't sync my music and shows 5GBs of other. I tryed deleting everything but music, contacts, photots and a few apps like facebook and twitter, and backing it up the damaged one again and restoring the new one again but it did the same thing. I know I used the right back up the second time but it still put all of my apps from the first back up on the second time I tryed it.

Hello Collins13,

It sounds like you are seeing 5 GB of "other" data on your iPhone 5. Sometimes "other" is being used by information like contacts, calendars, the iOS software installed on your device, settings, and other system resources. I recommend reviewing the following articles to learn more about storage capacity on your iPhone:

Understanding capacity on iPhone, iPad, and iPod

How OS X and iOS report storage capacity

If you are still seeing more "other" data than expected, it may be that the iPhone was disconnected during syncing:

Orphaned files may remain on your iOS device if it is physically disconnected while syncing music, podcasts, videos, or photos. This can prevent iTunes from syncing the iOS device on subsequent sync sessions. When this happens, the Capacity indicator in iTunes may report a large amount of "Other" disk usage for the iOS device.

You can find more information and steps to resolve this issue at the following link:
