13" Retina MBP Power Nap, loses Wi-Fi connection after wake up?

I have a Late 2013 13" Retina MBP running Mavericks (all updates installed) + a 2013 Time Capsule that is used for my Time Machine backup during charging sleep at night via the Power Nap feature.

Backups are fine, but once I turn on the laptop in the morning after a successful backup, I lose network connectivity. The wifi network to the TC is still connected (full bars at 5GHz band) but no IP connectivity - total ping loss.

Any remedy to this? There is no issue if Power Nap didn't run but only happens I let Power Nap run at night with the laptop sleeping with power source charging.

Thanks.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mavericks (10.9)
