After updating to 1.0.1 IBooks under 10.9 make it impossible to download free ibooks. I got an error code 1004
I tried the following things:
I cleaned the cach of ibooks
I log out and in from the ibook store
I checked sg.apppple.conection...
Has anyone a real solution?
By the way this app is incrdible buggy and had memory leaks all over the place, making it almost impossible to use...
this solved my same problem with ibooks on mavericks
go to System Preferences -> security ->Firewall->firewall options and add ibooks if is not in that list
