Samsung ML-1610 Mono Laser Printer
Samsung does not publisise the fact that this printer can be supported on a Mac.
I have my Samsung ML-1610 up and running on Mac OS X 10.3.9 .
Used the following driver found on the Samsung international site:

Works perfectly - on boot up usb printer instantly recognised.
Also have used the driver to set up access to printer via a Netgear PS121 USB Print Server. Again worked first time.
