How to tell if I have NEWEST version of 15" Macbook Pro w Retina?

I bought a 15" MacBook Pro with Retina Display right at the time the newest MacBook Pros were being released this fall. It was bought early Nov. after the keynote address that was near the end of October 2013. Since it doesn't have an identifying number like iphone 4 or 5S, how do I tell if I was shipped one of the ones they still had in stock or the NEWEST one that just came out? I've looked at specs and I've read online and called Apple. I seem to get conflicting answers from all places. Please help!!! I specifically waited before buying a 15" MacBook Pro with Retina, because I knew an upgraded new one was coming out in Oct/Nov. So since I ordered mine right during that time I'm not sure I received what I waited for. How can I tell for absolute certain that this is the latest and greatest??

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mavericks (10.9)

From the finder menu bar > Apple Logo > About this Mac > More info...

It should say Late 2013:

Additionally, under 'graphics', it should read either

Intel Iris Pro Graphics 1028 MB

or

NVIDEA GeForce GT750M

This would confirm the latest model as no earlier models shipped with either.

Not possible to buy in September and get a Late 2013 model Macbook Pro. They didn't come out until October 22 2013.

Mine does say late 2013, but somewhere else I read online said theirs said late 2013 and they bought it in Sept. before new ones were announced. I'm pretty sure mine is the newest, but not 100% convinced. 🙂

Model number is where it gets a little confusing. Box says model number is A1398. Hardware info on computer shows a model name and a model identifier. Then when you look at the link Ogelthorpe sent it shows ME294xx/A for the model number. Specs are confusing to me. WHY CAN'T APPLE JUST NUMBER THEM LIKE THEY DO THE IPHONES AND IPADS. PLEEEEEEEASE!! 😁

A1938 corresponds to the following machines (all the latest 15'' retina Macbook Pro models released 10/22/13):
