Copy a Contact card

Is it possible to copy an exiting Contact card and then modify it? Example, I have a contact who is with an organization. I would like to copy this Contact card and then edit the name, email address and phone number. All other data is the same as the original. This would save me from having to type in the address data, website, etc. for all the other Contacts with this organization.

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion, MacBook Air, IPad v1, Apple TV v2

Select a name from the column on the left. Copy and Paste.

That only copies the name. I want to copy the entire card and then edit the duplicate card.

We must be doing something different.

I am running Contact 8.0 in Mavericks.

I single clicked on my AAA contact. Comman-C. Command-V. Clicked on the second copy. Edit. Changed the name and the phone number.

What are your doing differently?
