Q: iPhone 4S: (Error 4013)

Thinking i had a battery problem, because my iPhone kept on showing the apple logo continously with the Battery logo seconds later on red all the time.. I go and buy a new battery. On a numerous of accassions i research near enough evrything on the error code (4013) and near enough all the people who fixed this problem had a new battery installed.

Me, on the other hand.
When the new battery was received, it were all disembelled and reassembled in unique form, howether, when turning it on it now brings me to an iTunes Logo with - and without the USB cable

I've tried restoring this iPhone so many times howether it's just not having it, even with the new battery! It would get to finishing the extraction of Apples iOS7 and moments after the logo shows up, it goe's off and then the battery sign appears (red) and decides to put itself into SYNC mode again.

If anyone can help me fix this problem then your a genius, and will more than likely save me alot of money!
Also, the phone isn't showing no results like Serial Number in iTunes itself, More or less seems as if it has no OS system installed, Yes, thats sounds silly, but thats what i suspect.

Thanks, Brandon.

Thank you so much!!! This is it! I had this problem twice - every time after using my phone a looong time, the second time the wifi didn't work too (I have a lot of experiences with hair dryer and freezer - it actually works very well for non-working wifi! ) so I think the problem might be with phone's 'overworking'...overheating or something like this...  Obviously, this is hardware problem. I like iOS but these problems irritate me so much I can't tell! And in my opinion, Apple knows very good how to solve this. Maybe these problems are on purpose - you have problem, go to the Apple service, spend an amount of money, got your phone back OK....clever, isn't it? But it seems no one cares about how to prevent these problems...or why they come up. Thank you thawk69!

Exactly.... My iphone 4s has suddenly crashed when I was running heavy "News" app on the iOS 9... After since I was trying to restore it but it was giving error 4013 no way. I live in the Mongolia, so there is no any Apple store or repair services here. My local phone repair services could not fix the phone. Now, because of your comment I understand that it was due to the overheating. Maybe the processor could not take much.

I don't understand why Apple trying to force us to use iOS 9 on the phone 4s. iPhone 4s processor cannot take that heavy iOS. I want to downgrade to the iOS 7. I think that iOS 7 was best in the performance and speed.

    4013 error

You need to update iTunes and then restart your computer.

If you check for an update from iTunes you may get a msg that iTunes is up to date. If so go to iTunes.com and download from there, then update and restart computer. Once rebooted open iTunes and restore.
