scroll slow with 2 fingers

I am on a macbook pro with Safari (all updated to most current os). I depend on scrolling with my fingers using the trackpad. In chrome, it scrolls fine. In Safari, it jumps and moves slow. I cleaned the cache.

Any ideas?
