How do I copy an image from pdf file using preview?
I've done this before from the same pdf file but can't remember how I did it. Does anyone know?

you can take a screen shot with command shift 4
or adobe reader ( the free pdf reader) will allow you to pull the photos out.
Ok. I tried that and heard the camera shutter go off now how do I retrieve the image? Where is it on my computer?
There was some way I had done this before by holding down the CMD, Option, or Shift key (I can't remember), dragging my cursor over the portion of the picture I wanted, releasing the cursor, and I would then hear the camera shutter go off. I can't remember what I had to do next. I had originally found the answer on the internet when I googled how to do this, but I can't find the answer again this time.
Please help.
Thanks.
Kathy

Where did you check?
Screen shots are suppose to be saved on your desktop. See KB Article: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH11229
If that is not where there are going, do a manual search. Check inside your Download folder for starters.
I figured out. Thanks.
