Can you use your Macbook Air as a remote for Logic Studio 9 on my iMac 27"

I have a new Macbook Air that I would like to use with my iMac 27" (AUG 2011) as a remote for Logic Studio 9. Can this be done so I don't have to go back to my iMac everytime I want to punch in and out?

iMac (27-inch Mid 2011), Mac OS X (10.7.5)

Yes.

You can set up (through the IAC driver in Audio Midi Preferences) a Network. (plenty of YouTube videos on How To)

or,

You could use a MIDI cable from one Mac to the other.

or,

You could get a MIDI device, and assign MIDI control to the RECORD transport button

or,

You could use an external ASCll keyboard and assign a key to do it.
