Using M-Audio M-Track OSX Lion and Pro-Tools 7

Hi,

I have a Macbook (OSX Lion 10.8.5) with Pro-Tools 7.0something , my previous Mbox2 mini has alot of noise/interference so its toast likely. I have an M-Audio M-Track I'd like to try, will it work? I just dont want to try the Mtrack (and if it doesnt work) lose my Mbox compatibility too- I'd prefer the noisy one over nothing at all. Any tips would help. Note I havent tried hooking up the Mtrack yet, I wanted advice before messing with anything
