I want to unhide the user Library folder so I can copy it to backup media, and see it in the User level Finder presentation.at it
I have used Terminal to get at it, but it would be nice to have in Finder.

Never mind, I found the answer under 'Re: unhide library folder'
Click Go menu item and select "Go to Folder" then type /Users/YourUserName/Libray. Or you could use this terminal command to Show All Files.
defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles -bool true (Replace true with false to turn off
killall Finder to implement either)
No need to do that one, since that'll reveal all hidden files/folders. Not what the OP was looking for.

You appear to be on the last Mountain Lion release. Should you upgrade to Mavericks, it now has a Show Library Folder checkbox in the Finder’s Show View Options menu.
