Jul 9, 2006 8:04 PM in response to userremovedby MartinR,FCE2 predates the MacBook Pros (Intel based systems) by quite a long time. Other users have had similar difficulties. If I recall correctly, you can just ignore the error message. But search the Forum, you will find out what other people have done.
I would suggest, however, that you upgrade to v 3.5 for your MacBook Pro. It's the UB version and runs much better on the Intel systems. -
Jul 9, 2006 11:46 PM in response to userremovedby chrisjocanis, well i had the same problem, all you need to do is press escape, but i would recommend the upgrade to fce 3.5 -
Jul 10, 2006 1:07 AM in response to userremovedby Ian R. Brown,For the $99 Upgrade fee you get a far superior program plus the mind-blowing LiveType and Soundtrack.
In any case FCE2 is likely to work slowly and generally be unsatisfactory on your MBP.
