I am trying to update to the new Facebook Update, Version: 6.7.1
I have a few updates all come in at once tonight (November 8th at 9pm) However the other 4 apps updated but when I try to update Facebook, it tells me "Unable to Download App. "Facebook" could not be downloaded at this time."
I have shut off anf back on my IPHONE 5. I have signed in and out of my itunes account.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Tried deleting and re-installing, but get same error. When deleting and re-installing app downloads from "purchased" as expected and looks like it is installing (indicator moves), but then app requests authentication and app fails to download.
Both hard and soft restarted phone, no effect.

Same problem here. Tried all of the things you guys mentioned. After a while, my iPhone somehow downloaded the Facebook app but my iPad still won't.
Same thing here too with an odd twist: I'll delete the original app and then download another(presumably the most up to date version) from the App Store; after download completes, it says there is a new update (6.7.1) and it fails to update. Very strange.
I tried deleting and reinstalling, now my iPhone wont download facebook, and my iPhone wont connect to the itunes store att all.
I just tried updating the old-fashioned way by plugging the iPad into my Mac. iTunes complains that it can't download the artwork for Facebook. Then it prompted me to enter my Apple ID password, but it had some random person's Apple ID instead of mine. Server problem?
I'm having the same problem. The update is dated Nov. 9. I wonder if it won't work until after midnight PST??? I have a blank icon in the app store and on the phone when trying to install. Unable to download error.
The same problem....... I uninstalled the app of my iPhone 5s so now I can't download Fb app by the App store I'll try to install it by my Macbook on the version 6.7
Resolved, sorta.
Kevin34ct mentioned that the date was the 9th and gave me an idea. Deleted non-downloading app. Turned off automatic time set, set time zone to London (4:13am 9 November) and did install. Worked as expected and Facebook works normally.
Somehow my iPhone managed to download Facebook v6.7.1. So I copied the binary back to my Mac using iTunes Sync, then copied it over to my iPad with another sync, and now I'm good. If you have an old binary on your Mac, try restoring from that.

Having the same issue -- tried to download to my iPhone 5S, but it won't let me. Tried downloading to my Macbook Pro, but I'm getting an error 8012. Tried switching the date/time, still didn't work. Guess I'll have to wait until morning.
Same issue trying to update Facebook app to 6.7.1. Fails to download.
iPhone 4S, iOS 6.1.3 (yeah, I know - need to update iOS too - but iTunes filled my PC HDD to capacity with backups. I'm still trying fix that issue!)

Date though says Nov 8 Version 6.7.1, and setting the time to London time did not fix the download issue either.
Same issue here, and Apple support told me there is NOTHNG they can do about it. It's all Facebook!! Leave it to facebook to screw up everyone's devices.
Yep. First the very recent update to 6.7 kept crashing for everyone and became unusable. Now 6.7.1 which says "bug fixes" won't even download properly and is causing more problems. I don't understand how these multi billion dollar tech companies are able to release faulty software.
