iMessage still says "Waiting for activation."

I know this question has been answered already, but I need help as none of the answers have been helpful or recent. My iMessage hasn't been working. It had been working this morning, then I logged on my MacBook with the Apple ID so I could iMessage my friend. Now, my number doesn't work on my iMessage and all the iMessages directed to me seem to be sending to my parent's iPhones. They can recieve my iMessages, and can check my number in "send from" and "recieve from," but I can't, and my number is in gray. Now, my iMessage still says "waiting for activation."

I've already tried restarting, logging in/out for both iMessage and FaceTime, and logging out of an iTunes account for iMessage and FaceTime on both my parent's phones... can anyone help?
