Q: I have two iPads, one for my child and mine. They both use the same user Id so I can control purchases. How do I stop the App Store content going to both iPads?

I have two iPads under the one user ID. Mine and my 4 year olds. When making purchases for the App Store, the purchase goes to both IPads. How do I stop content going to both?

Any help would be great.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities

You have to disable Automatic Downloads on the iPad where you don't want to get the purchases. Open Settings > iTunes & App Stores, and disable Automatic Downloads for Apps, Music and/or Books. Read > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4539
