Ok first of all here are the facts that might help
-It has no service, basically it's a iPod Touch, so calling won't work
-It does not have the FindMyiPhone and the MobileMe app
-It is connected to the wifi
I've tried looking, but I can't find it. Since it's connected to the wifi is there some way I can make it play a sound so I can find it?

Yeah there's Find My Phone, but you didn't set that up.

I talked to my friend today and he said that he was able to make his iPod Touch make a noise without the FindMyiPhone app installed. He used his dad's device and logged onto his iCloud account and made a noise.

You don't have to have the Find My iPhone app installed. You have to have location services on and Find My iPod set up under iCloud on the device. And it has to be connected to WiFi.
So are you saying I can install FindMyiPhone remotely?
No, I'm saying if you had location services turned on, you set up your iCloud account on your device and turned on find my iPod under iCloud you can try to locate it with another device or computer.
Alright tried all that and doesn't seem to work. Dead end for me lol
