Where has my rented movie gone?

I rented a movie a week ago on Apple TV and the download was super-slow so I didn't get to watch. It was however showing up in my 'rented movies' with 29 days remaining. Now I'm trying to find it and it's not showing up?? I have been billed for it though... any ideas? I have tried signing out and signing back in, have restarted Apple TV, and am now trying reset.
