Q: When will the fix for rescaling wallpapers be released?

I've read the 38 pages of discussion about this issue and it appears that even though we are now on iOS 7.0.3 there is still no fix.

I have an iPad mini and have tried turning off the parallax effect and taking a screen shot of my picture.

I am, however, not going to try downloading apps or calculating screen resolution as these are gimmicks not worthy of Apple or my time.

I want a straight answer from Apple with a definite deadline for this fix!

I have other apple devices for which I have not accepted the updated software because the experiment on the iPad mini has failed.

iPad mini, iOS 7.0.3

We are fellow users here on these forums, Apple don't post here. You can leave a 'bug report' feedback for Apple via the feedback page : http://www.apple.com/feedback/ipad.html

    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5595 :

When the parallax effect is on, you may notice the following:

    • Wallpaper, icons, and alerts shift slightly as you move your phone.
    • When you set a wallpaper in Settings > Wallpapers & Brightness, the photo or image will be slightly zoomed and can't be scaled to fit the screen.

If you zoom in, you will need to rescale your wallpaper to fit to the screen. You can't rescale certain photo formats, including landscape or square images.

    Paul,

At the risk of seeming negative, we here, have no knowledge of what Apple will do at any time.  Apple will announce these things by an update if and when they come to pass.

All you can do is use the feedback option and even that specifically says you cannot expect an answer,

    Sorry.
