Recently updated mail now mailboxes are gone

I updated to Maverick with no issues, then yesterday morning I woke up and noticed all my mailboxes in mail were gone. Checked App Store and mail & iBooks were recently updated.

How can I get my mailboxes back?

OS X Mavericks (10.9)

If you are having issues with Mail in Mavericks, you may want to make sure you have updated to the most recent release. You may find the following article helpful:
