My late 2012 iMac loses the correct time when put to sleep.
I don't know if this is due to the time switch, the upgrade to Mavericks, or both.
iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2012), OS X Mavericks (10.9)
Check System Preference/Data & Time to confirm you have the correct time zone selected and other options in the Date & Time preferences are correct

That was the first thing that I tried.
In fact, after waking, I can get the system
to reset itself to the correct time just by
opening up the Date & Time preferences
without changing anything.
I end up doing that several times a day.
When it wakes up, it is not off by an hour.
It seems to be off by however long it was asleep.
Sorry I have no idea on this, have you tried resetting the PRAM and SMC?

That seemed to work.
By that, I mean resetting the SMC.
I didn't need to reset the PRAM.
All that matters is it worked, that good enough, glad it is fixed.
