We have an ios device that is synced to an itunes library on our computer. Howerver, we have created a new libaray on the same pc, and want to use this device on both libraries (or at least use the new one). When we try to apply settings for the device on the new library, it says it's synced with the other, and must be formatted to use it with that library. We don't want to have that as an option. Can you help us?
There is no other option.
You can sync with one and only one library at a time. Syncing to another will indeeed erase the current content.
