MacBook occasionally losing Wi-Fi connection

I cannot find my original posting, but I received suggestions to unlug and re-plug both the Internet and Time Capsule for a spell, and to re-select the proper local network on the MacBook. (It is MacBook Network; Previously I had used MacBook Network 5HGz.) No different, still loses connection for a minute or two every so often.Never did before I did last 10.8.5 OS update. "Automatic" is selected and the selection of different specific channels is greyed out. I don't know how to learn what channels my neighbors are using in case that's causing interference - I seem to have seem them once.

I had similar Internet wireless troubles with my Wi-Fi Radio and solved them by hooking it up with Ethernet. Hope I don't have to do the same with the MacBook (but it is in the same room).

iMac (21.5-inch Late 2009), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3), Comcast broadband, TM
