my ipod 4g is stuck in dfu mode and itunes wont restore it what do i do?

My ipod 4g is stuck in dfu mode.Everytime i try to restore it on itunes,a message pops up saying a error has eccured.

iPod touch (4th generation), iOS 6.1.3
