You can restrict access if you're admin by changing the privledges

1. Right click folder

2. Select 'Get Info'

3. Click the padlock in the bottom right hand corner

4. Enter admin password

5. Change all privledges to 'Write Only (Dropbox)'

6. Click the lock again

Now, when you try and open the folder it will say you don't have permission.

Follow the above steps to unlock the folder by changing the privileges for your user.

The Get Info and Click Padlock solution doesn't work because anyone can select Get Info and change "Write only (dropbox)" to Write Only or Read Only WITHOUT having to enter the password. You'd think you're safe as it gives the impression it's locked but it's easily bypassed by just clicking on Privilege and making it anything but "Write Only (dropbox)".
